Description
The Tiffen 49mm Black Satin 1/4 Filter is designed to decrease the overall contrast of an image and provide better highlight control in a scene. This screw-in filter not only adds a gritty, grainy texture to highlights, but it also subtly softens facial imperfections and lines to achieve a natural and polished look.
Made with ColorCore technology, this filter is crafted from water white glass and involves a manufacturing process that includes laminating the filter substrate between two layers of optical glass, grinding to an incredibly precise tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounting on metal rings with great precision.
