Description

Anki Overdrive Expansion Car, Thermo’s Magma Core engine is old-school meets future. Using hyper-charged internal combustion, it not only burns up the track, it projects fire at anyone in range.

The Cars
Supercars are equipped with a tiny 50Mhz computer and infrared cameras. The cameras scan the infrared markings on the track pieces at 500Hz to determine and maintain position. Software on the Supercars decode track markings, control driving behaviours, and communicates with the device. Bluetooth Low Energy communication with the device makes the car react quickly to controller inputs.

Requirements to Play
To get started with Anki OVERDRIVE, you need to make sure you have our Starter Kit. A start/finish track piece must be used in all track configurations and is only included in the Starter Kit. Download the free Anki OVERDRIVE app on a compatible iOS or Android device to control the cars on the track. Each player requires their own compatible device. Up to 4 cars can play at any time. If you want to play cross device a WiFi connection is required.

Thermo's Weapons

• Radiant Beam
  Fires a beam of pure heat doing massive damage to anyone caught in its path.

• Afterburner
  A rear-mounted rocket booster that allows Thermo's Magma Core to blast forward at incredible speed.

• Flamethrower
  The Flame Thrower fires a continuous spray of flame over a very wide but short arc in front of Thermo, damaging all vehicles in range.
