I bought this for use with my Canon 60D and it's been great. When mounted on a tripod, this remote helps completely get ride of any camera shake, even that caused by simply pressing the on camera shutter button. So far I've used it to shoot models, cars, and scenery and it's paid for itself. Great remote for the money. Cable is just the right length. Multi-function button is perfect to get AE/AF lock and then take the picture. Only down side is I always reach for the wrong part of the remote - they put the button on the side where the wire comes out so that when it dangles from your camera, the button is already on top; but I always try to correct for where I think the button should be (so by making it more ergonomic they made it seem backwards).
