Description

The beige 4060-F10 Hi-Sens Omni-Directional Miniature Condenser Microphone from DPA Microphones is designed for use with wireless systems in theatre, television, and close-miked instrument applications. This condenser microphone is unobtrusive. Because of its small size, the tiny condenser exhibits an accurate omni-directional pattern and therefore does not need to be aimed directly at the sound source to achieve quality pickup.

The featured hardwire TA-4F connector is compatible with Shure Wireless Transmitters. This condenser microphone also features a 5.9’ (1.8m) cable and is supplied with 2 grids, one with a high boost and the other one with a soft boost. By changing these grids, you can acoustically modify the microphone's response according to its placement on the body including the chest, head, etc.

Offering good detail and resolution, the 4060-F10 Hi-Sens Omni-Directional Miniature Condenser Microphone has a neutral sonic character and is natural sounding. It has a low noise floor and impressive sensitivity, and can handle high SPLs. Musicians and engineers use this condenser microphone as a live or studio microphone for close-miking acoustic string instruments like violin, guitar, bass, viola, and harp. On television, the condenser microphone is popular as a lavalier lapel and tie clip mic.
