This surveillance system includes a DVR that can support up to 12 cameras with a preinstalled 2TB hard drive as well as eight bullet cameras.

This DVR supports pentaplex use which allows you to remotely view, record, playback, and backup video from different cameras simultaneously. You won't have to stop recording to access another one of the DVR's functions. With multiple recording modes like continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered, you can configure recording parameters to accommodate your unique surveillance needs as well as to conserve space on the DVR's preinstalled hard drive. With adjustable frame rate settings, and H.264 video compression, this DVR allows users to optimise storage space by reducing the resolution, frame rate, and other image variables that contribute to the creation of larger video and audio file sizes.

The included eight 900 TVL cameras each have an 960H optimised image sensor and a built-in 3.6mm wide-angle lens that captures an 80° field of view. Capture colour video during the day, and black and white video at night within a range of up to 90'. With IP66-Rating, these cameras are dust and rainproof, and are designed to operate in harsh environments, making them well-suited for outdoor surveillance applications.

Users can view and playback video captured by any of the 8 bullet cameras right on their iOS or Android smart devices via the free Lorex Stratus Connectivity app. When connecting your DVR to your preferred display, this system also comes with a HDMI cable, making it easy to connect to an HDMI TV or monitor as well as BNC and VGA outputs to give you more options. A remote control, one mouse, two 4-in-1 adapters, eight 60' BNC power extension cables, eight mounting kits, and one power adapter are included for monitoring flexibility and simplified installation.
