Description

The MEP-4000 from Pioneer is a Rekordbox compatible dual-media/CD player designed for professional DJs, serious home enthusiasts, and clubs. The rackmount media player ships with a drive unit and a control unit, which is connected via the included 8-pin DIN remote control cable. The drive unit features two slot-loading CD players and two USB ports for playing music from flash drives. The players support CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and CD-TEXT CD formats and WAV and MP3 music file formats.

Each deck on the control unit features a display, jog wheel, and controls for search, play/pause, cue, loop in, loop out, and reloop. A dedicated tempo slider, pitch bend, and master tempo controls allow for quick and easy beat matching. The Rekordbox functionality allows for a complete music library management system for locking in tempo, cue, and hot cue information; making for dynamic and expressive performances. The MEP-4000 ships with two power cords, two stereo RCA cables, and a Rekordbox licence code.
