Description

From the freezing Arctic tundra to sweltering Equatorial jungles, the black Fenix HP12 LED Headlight is engineered to perform in extreme climates and conditions while leaving both hands free to handle the task at hand. One Cree XM-L2 LED produces four outputs from a low 10 lumens to a high of 400 lumens, and the head tilts for precise beam placement. If you need to throw the beam further or just need maximum illumination, there is an instantly-accessible 900 lumen Burst mode available, even if the light is off. A single pushbutton on the right side of the housing controls the output intensity with a simple press so it's easy to use in all weather and conditions, with or without gloves.

Designed to perform in extreme conditions, the light has been tested to work at temperatures as low as -40°, and the housing features a scratch and corrosion-resistant Type III hard-anodised finish. The housing is impact-resistant to 6.6' and O-ring sealed to give it an IP68-rating, making it dustproof and submersible to 6.6' for up to 30 minutes. To help distribute the weight evenly and reduce neck fatigue, a separate battery case attaches to the back of the adjustable headband. The light runs on one user supplied 18650 or two CR123A batteries, and has reverse-polarity protection circuitry to prevent damage if the batteries are installed incorrectly.
