Description
The Panasonic AJ-YAX800G is an encoder card designed to P2 specifications designed to record proxy files. The card records small files at 3 different bitrates and is designed to make long-form editing (news, reality TV, documentaries) easier. While full resolution footage is recorded to P2 cards, the AJ-YAX800G records smaller files that can be easily used as editable intermediates. The card can record files at 1.5Mbps, 768kbps, and 196kbps.
Compatible with AJ-HPX2000, AJ-HPX3000, AJ-HPX2700 (VariCam 2700), AJ-HPX3700 (VariCam 3700)
