Description

The SKYRIS 445C 1.25" Colour CCD Eyepiece Camera from Celestron is a high resolution digital imaging system that allows you to capture full-colour astronomical images in as fast as 0.0001 of a second. Using the Sony EXview HAD ICX445AQA colour CCD sensor and connecting to a computer by USB 3.0, images download at up to 30 frames per second. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0, but download speeds will be slower. The fast download speed of USB 3.0 allows you to gather more images in less time. This is ideal if the weather and atmospheric conditions are fluctuating and you have limited time for imaging. Whether you're looking at the Moon, Mars, or the rings of Saturn, the SKYRIS 445C takes your view of the sky and makes it available for everyone to see.

The included iCap software for Windows lets you control the camera, snap pictures or create a movie file, and export them. An integrated stacking programme in iCap lets you automatically filter the best images and stack them to create the perfect Composite celestial picture.
