Celestron AC Adapter - 5 Amp (CGEM, CGE Pro)

Description

The AC Adapter - 5 Amp (CGEM, CGE Pro) from Celestron is made exclusively for their CGEM and CGE Pro mounts. It is designed to provide continuous power to the mount when an AC outlet is available. The barrel connector on the DC plug threads directly onto the mount's power jack and prevents power-offs due to the cable being inadvertently pulled out. It delivers up to 5 Amp @ 12 VDC which is sufficient power to run the CGEM or CGE Pro mounts loaded with heavy equipment. The switching-type, AC-to-DC power adapter, provides more power with less weight than a transformer-style adapter.

The transformer is 100-240volt, 50 to 60 cycle, like laptop and camera chargers so is usable worldwide.
