Description

The light-blue Pioneer DDJ-SB DJ Controller with Serato Intro Software is designed for live performance applications. The controller comes with a free copy to Serato DJ Intro software, which provides a basic introduction to the software user interface for DJing. With the software and the controller, you can hot cue, auto loop, control the sampler, and apply effects. A paid upgrade to the full version of the software, Serato DJ, enables advanced features such as arranging with slip mode, iZotope effects, and the ability to record tracks with DJ mixes.

The USB bus-powered controller features a built-in audio interface for converting tracks from digital to analogue and outputting them over a pair of RCA ports for main outputs and either a stereo 1/4" headphone or mini stereo headphone monitor out. A navigation button allows you to select tracks and two load buttons enable sending the tracks to each deck.

For controls, two 112mm aluminium jog wheels can be used for scratching and mixing tracks. Each channel of the two deck controller also features eight rubberised performance pads that can be used for hot cueing, auto looping manual looping, controlling the sampler, playing and pausing tracks, cueing, syncing, and shifting the functions of the pads.

Each channel also includes a tempo fader, three effects buttons with level and beat control, gain control, a 3-band AEQ, variable low pass and high pass filters, and volume faders. A crossfader and a one press Filterfade button that assigns high pass filters to the crossfader enable smooth one handed transitions.
