Running long cables from your camera to a video village setup or a director's monitor can be a cumbersome and literally entangling issue, making the V-mount Storm Cine 8 Wireless Monitor from Vaxis the ideal solution for ditching the wires in both studio and on-location shoots. The integrated Vaxis wireless receiver handles signals coming from as far as 500' and in resolutions up to DCI 4K. Measuring 8.9" diagonally, the 1500 cd/m² super retina, 2560 x 1600 touchscreen display delivers 330 ppi visual clarity, viewable in daylight or brightly lit locations, without limiting you to being tethered to specific areas of your set.

The Storm Cine 8 is loaded with technical and creative tools that include 3D LUT support, waveform and vectorscope settings, and various colour space options such as REC. 709, DCI-P3, and BT.2020, allowing content creators to see the footage acquired in a form closest to their intended final vision. The user-friendly touchscreen menu gives you instant access to making changes to colour temperature, gamma value, and a vast range of parameters, including backlight brightness, contrast, and saturation. The monitor also supports HDR, with an option to view either PQ or HLG.

The self-developed CINE OS touch operating system is the first and only one specifically created for Vaxis, along with the AFCA intelligent focus assist algorithm, which ensures more reliable and convenient focus control. Five antenna ports on the top surface of the monitor allow you to mount any or all of the five included external antennas for better distance coverage and overall reception. An integrated V-mount battery plate gives you the option to power the unit using an optional V-mount battery. A flight case is included for portability and storage.

Optimize and adjust ordinary HDR source frame by frame to recreate lifelike details.

4K 6G-SDI Input and Output
BNC input and output ports support 10-bit 4:2:2 (YCbCr) at up to DCI 4K.

Multiple Image Markers
Select frame-safe areas and change the colour and intensity of the lines with 16:9, 15:9, 14:9, 13:9, and 4:3 aspect ratios.

Anamorphic De-Squeeze Support
Anamorphic de-squeeze is available with 2x, 1.8x, 1.65x, 1.5x, and 1.33x support.

Real-Time RGB, Y, Cbr, and Cr Values with LightMeter Function
Simply touch anywhere on the monitor to assign your crosshairs for reading with the Vaxis LightMeter function.

Five Mounting Points
There are three 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom and an additional 1/4"-20 thread on each side of the monitor.
