Description
The VX2778-SMHD 27" 16:9 LCD Monitor from ViewSonic is built with a Plane-to-Line Switching (PLS) panel that provides you with wide 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles as well as vivid colour reproduction, similar to that of an In-Plane Switching (IPS) display. Combined with an 80,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, support for 16.7 million colours, and 100% sRGB coverage, you'll be able to enjoy rich colours with darker blacks and brighter bright colours. Its 2560 x 1440 resolution offers roughly 70% more screen space compared to a standard 1080p display, to deliver crisp and clear HD content. A 5 ms response time ensures smooth images without streaking, blurring, or ghosting for a more optimal experience in fast-paced action sequences. Furthermore, it has extremely thin bezels measuring less than 0.1" wide for a more immersive experience, especially in a multi-monitor setup. Connect this display to your system via Mini-DP, DisplayPort, or HDMI and tilt it to your viewing preference. Alternatively, you can instal a third-party mount or stand using the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes on the back.

Game Mode
Using the Game Mode hotkey, you can switch between four different settings for an optimal blend of colour and technology for specific gaming scenarios. You can also set individual preferences for select games. Game Modes include: FPS1, FPS2, RTS, and MOBA.
ViewMode
Aside from gaming, this monitor can also toggle between movie, web, text, and mono presets to enhance gamma curve, colour temperature, contrast, and brightness for a more optimal viewing experience depending on what you're doing.
Low Input Lag
A built-in processor reduces input lag from your keyboard, mouse, or controller so commands are recognised quickly allowing you to react in real-time against your enemies.
Eye Care
This display features flicker-free and blue light filtering technology to help reduce eye strain caused by extended viewing periods.
