Description

The Zacuto VCT Pro baseplate echoes a traditional ENG style camera with a modern twist. VCT worked well for ENG cameras but modern cameras are lighter and shorter, without a heavy tape recorder or film magazine on the back. Zacuto designers set out to create a universal baseplate that merged the stability and ease of a classic VCT with contemporary cameras and rigs.

The VCT Tripod Plate can adapt a standard video tripod head to accommodate VCT-14 camera plates. This plate accepts Zacuto's VCT Universal Baseplate for Recoil rigs. The VCT mount allows for quickly transitioning between handheld and locked-down shooting.

The VCT Pro Dock allows you to quickly take you camera off the VCT Pro Baseplate and slide it onto the VCT Pro Dock situated on a tripod, dolly, Steadicam, etc. The red top plate slides off the baseplate with the push of a lever and into the Dock quickly and easily. With the twist of our Mini Ratcheting lever, your camera is secured in place on the Dock. The Dock attaches to your tripod or device via ¼” 20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screw holes centered in the bottom of the plate.
