Description
Add frame-by-frame control to your existing NLE system with the Contour Design ShuttlePRO v2 NLE Multimedia Controller. The ShuttlePRO v2 is cross-platform and pre-configured for most NLE video and audio applications. It features 15 fully programmable buttons, allowing you to customize it for your frequently used editing commands. Additionally, you can monitor the program you are currently in and make adjustments to your programmed commands accordingly.

I wish I had got this sooner. I'm using this tool to edit video in Davinci Resolve, and audio in Audacity on a windows machine. The things I like about it are that is a decent size and your hand rests nicely on it. I can use it for so many programs, and each one can have its own customised buttons. It knows what program you are in, and the buttons automatically assign for it. It's helped me speed up my workflow by just using this and the mouse. And yeah, people will go on about keyboard shortcuts being superior, but this tool really works better for me. It's been around for a long time. Feels sturdy, lets you put labels under the top 9 buttons if you want to remember what have them set for. Also allows you to output a diagram of what I assigned for each program. Which is handy when you first set it up. Negative things would be it could take a while to set up to your liking, but there are a lot of options and ways to make things work. And it is corded, which could be a deal breaker for some people. If they ever brought out a wireless version I would buy that in a heartbeat.Read more Read less

I had a v1 model when I was editing professionally and it had worn away and some of the plastic button caps had fallen off. But it was a very helpful tool. I just upgraded to the v2 model and it seems a little sturdier and still very easy to use. However, I am using Windows 11 and the driver is flaky. It will normally detect the application I am using when it starts and the the key mapping works properly. However, after a while it just stops working. If I alt-tab to another app then come back again it will start working again, but after a while it drops out again. This is very frustrating and totally ruins workflow.
