The CineStill Film 50Daylight Xpro C-41 Colour Negative Film is specially designed for still photographers who want to achieve a cinematic image quality. Originally a movie stock, this film has been reformatted and packaged for use in still cameras. It undergoes a unique "Premoval" stage where the traditional anti-halation rem-jet layer is removed, allowing the film to be developed using C-41 chemistry or the motion picture standard ECN-2 process.
This film offers distinct advantages due to its low-speed motion picture stock characteristics. It is perfect for outdoor shooting under bright conditions, thanks to its daylight/5500K-balanced formulation. With an ISO rating of 50/18°, it delivers optimal results. When shooting under tungsten/3200K-balanced lighting, it is recommended to use an 80B filter and expose the film at ISO 12 for normal results. The film's slow speed provides excellent control over highlights, while maintaining vibrant and dynamic colors. It is particularly well-suited for portraiture and landscape photography, thanks to its high sharpness and fine grain structure. Additionally, it is ideal for scanning.
This product consists of a single roll of 120 format film.
