The Moment 67mm Variable Neutral Density 0.6 to 1.5 Filter is specifically made to be mounted onto lenses that have 67mm front filter threads. It effectively reduces exposure by 2 to 5 stops, creating a darkened image that allows for wider apertures or slower shutter speeds. Adjusting the density is simple with the filter's front filter ring, which can easily be rotated to achieve the desired effect. This control over exposure length enables you to effectively manage depth of field and capture movement. The front ring of the filter is visibly marked with lines representing different stop values, giving you repeatable control over density settings. Additionally, the ring has side knurlings for precise positioning. The design of the front ring prevents any unintentional rotation beyond the etched stop values, ensuring consistent exposures.
For exceptional clarity and color fidelity, the filter is constructed using Schott B270 glass. To further enhance clarity and color fidelity, as well as prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface is coated with 15 layers of anti-reflection coatings. The filter is also coated for resistance to oil, static, and scratches, providing added protection and allowing it to stay clean for longer compared to uncoated filters.
