Made for the travelling photographer who wants a short yet versatile support system, the UltraPod Grip Tripod from Intova is compatible with cameras and any other gear weighing up to 2.7 kg and with a 1/4"-20 screw mount. It comes equipped with a built-in ball head capable of 360° panning and 90° tilting, and that also allows for angular adjustments of up to 20° in either direction.
A key complement to this tripod is the included 13"(33 cm) PowerStrap, which uses a touch fastener to allow for easy length adjustments. By wrapping this strap around the folded legs of the UltraPod and another object, you can safely attach the tripod to solid objects such as metal bars or tree limbs. This expands the range of angles available to you and makes this product well-suited for use in the outdoors.
The rear legs of the UltraPod have rubber grips on them that help prevent slipping when it is mounted directly to an object with the strap. When standing, these legs can be used in uneven surfaces and allow for a maximum height of 6.5" (16.5 cm). Made of nylon resin with aluminium inserts, the tripod weighs only 91 g and can be easily transported in a small bag or by hand.
