Description

The Redrock Micro ultraCage Black Series Field Cinema Rig is designed to support the Canon EOS C100 MK II and C300 MK II digital cinema cameras. This shoulder mounted rig comprises of the ultraCage Black Professional Series support cage for Canon EOS MKII cinema cameras, the handlebar rod clamp, two microHandGrip handles, microShoulderPad with FieldTech, 4"(10.2 cm) and 8"(20.3 cm) long handlebar 15mm rods, and a pair of 18"(45.7 cm) long 15 mm carbon fibre rods.

Redesigned for the slightly bulkier shape of the Canon C100/C300 Mk II, the Redrock Micro ultraCage Cinema EOS MKII is a formfitting, all-around cage offering integrated top and bottom 15 mm rod clamps, access to all ports and controls, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped accessory ports all around. It also features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 taps on the bottom of the baseplate for tripod mounting as well as attaching optional 3rd-party bridgeplates, such as the Arri bridgeplate, in order to adapt 15 mm studio and 19 mm rods. The baseplate is already designed with the correct height and mounting points to support the optional 15 mm studio / 19 mm rods to accommodate large cine lenses from Canon, Angenieux, Fujinon, and other manufacturers.

The camera attaches to the ultraCage from both the top and bottom. A 1/4"-20 screw secures to the camera from the top, and one 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16 screw secure the camera from the bottom using an included Double-Tap Plate. This Double-Tap Plate replaces the bottom plate of the camera in order to provide two screw holes.

The ultraCage is a modular system that can be taken apart if need be and that supports a variety of Redrock Micro accessories, including the compact powerPack. The powerPack neatly attaches on the right side and delivers power to the camera and to up to two accessories from your external battery, and also displays remaining battery life.

The Handlebar Clamp from Redrock Micro allows 4(10.2 cm) or 8"(20.3 cm) rods to be attached to standard 15 mm rods (60 mm spacing). It is typically used for creating a hand grip support for handheld or shoulder-mount rigs.

The Redrock Micro microHandGrip (Blue) combines a rubberised handgrip with an integrated all-metal rod clamp and thumb screw to provide a comfortable, non-slip handle. Attaches to 15 mm rod/rail support systems such as Redrock's microShoulderMount and its DSLR support rigs.

The 8-011-0002 15mm Carbon Fibre Rods (18", Pair) are designed specifically for Redrock Micro 's wide variety of support systems. The rods are 15 mm in size, making them ideal for attaching a mattebox, follow focus, and much more. The carbon fibre netts a total weight reduction of 66% when compared to stainless steel, making the unit incredibly light. Carbon fibre is not only extremely light, but also has a rigidity that exceeds titanium, making it extremely sturdy.

The 4" Handlebar Rod from Redrock Micro adds a 15 mm 4"(10.2 cm) rod to the Handlebar Clamp. It features an anti-rotation locking mechanism and attaches with a standard hex screw.

The 8" Handlebar Rod from Redrock Micro adds a 15 mm 8"(20.3 cm) rod to the Handlebar Clamp. It features an anti-rotation locking mechanism and attaches with a standard hex screw.

The Redrock Micro microShoulderPad with FieldTech provides adjustable support for your camcorder or DSLR. It includes a microShoulderMount Rod Clamp for 15 mm rods and a FieldTech shoulder pad.

The FieldTech shoulder pad is made of Cordura, breathable 3D mesh, and free-forming microPoly beads, and it provides balanced pressure distribution. It's self-levelling and actively adapts to all shapes and slopes. The rod clamp is adjustable backward and forward along 15 mm rods and can be locked into place.

The microShoulderPad features 1/4" and 3/8" threads on top for attaching a camera, and it has threads on the bottom for mounting onto a tripod.

The Redrock Micro microMount is a handy connector that attaches to any 15 mm rod on your camera support system and lets you add accessories such as articulating arms, external monitors, or even additional rods. With its standard 1/4"-20 male and female connectors, a wide range of options is at your fingertips.
