The Atlona HDMI to VGA / Component & Stereo Audio Format Convertor is used to convert a high-definition HDMI source with stereo audio to VGA or component video output for display on a PC monitor, projector, or TV. You can choose VGA or component video output from the convertor. Offering compatibility with a wide range of PC monitors, the Convertor supports VGA VESA resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 or component video up to 1080p.
De-embedding of audio signals allows the HDMI to VGA / Component convertor to provide audio output on a separate 1/8” stereo interface. This allows you to connect a set of speakers, an AVR, or any other audio device. In addition, the unit supports down conversion from a DVI source to either VGA / component output.
Note: This convertor is not HDCP compliant.
