Super compact and durable, the Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 12G allows you to connect HDMI cameras or computers to professional SDI (BNC) monitors or components. It also enables long distance HDMI extension using an SDI cable by using multiple units. This convertor has one HDMI input and two 12G-SDI outputs, which can be set to Level A or B for 3G-SDI. It automatically detects and matches the HDMI input to the SDI output and supports input/output resolutions up to DCI/UHD 4K60.
The pocket-sized Micro Convertor HDMI to SDI 12G incorporates HDMI timecode support, SDI re-clocking for stable performance over lengthy cable runs, HDMI copy protection, and compatibility with a wide range of professional broadcast resolutions, including 48 fps for cine-style applications. It features a robust metal housing with power and signal LED indicators, as well as durable connector interfaces. The USB Type-C port allows easy connection and power supply from adapters, monitors, laptops, or desktop computers, and also facilitates firmware updates from a Windows or macOS computer. Power for the convertor can be provided using a separately available USB Type-C cable and power supply.
