Cat5e CCA network patch leads are composed of a copper-clad aluminium (CCA), a composite wire that consists of an aluminium core clad with copper. CCA is used in applications requiring the conductivity of copper while retaining much of the price and weight advantages of aluminum. The leads conform to the TIA/EIA-568-B standard and provide performance of up to 100 MHz. They are pinned out to the T568A standard and have a limited lifetime warranty.
