Description
The COMSTAR Single-Ear Full Duplex Wireless Headset from Eartec is a fully-functional wireless headset that offers full duplex communication in a simple design that does not require the use of a beltpack. The headset works in conjunction with a Com-Center and up to 7 additional headsets, allowing you to create a wireless network of 8 users who can all communicate simultaneously with no delay or voice activation, ideal for applications where teams need full use of their hands. You can even split users into 2 groups of 4 people, or bring everyone together in conference mode.
The headset connects wirelessly to your Com-Center at distances of up to 400 yards in any direction, allowing 2 headsets to be up to 800 yards apart while still enjoying full communication capabilities. The around-ear cushion and padded headband provide lasting comfort for all-day use. Integrated controls make it easy to adjust the volume of the headset and program it in the field. The COMSTAR headset is self tuning and has an internal antenna, so no remote antenna is needed.
The headset's microphone is at the end of a positionable boom, allowing you to place the mic in the best spot for excellent vocal pickup. A foam windscreen reduces the effects of wind noise and breath pops for ultimate clarity. The headset has a rechargeable lithium battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation and can be changed in seconds. The headset and other COMSTAR components work in the 1900MHz frequency band, which is reserved by the FCC for "PCS" voice communication, so no license is required. The system is certified for use in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

Australian Shipping Via DHL
DHL offers a great express shipping service to Australia from New Zealand. We are proud to be able to offer express
shipping to main cities on the east coast of Australia, within the same timeframe ( If not quicker ) than local
Australian courier companies. Prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, service standards for these main centers was
overnight. However these services have been impacted greatly, and as such the overnight service has been suspended.
Overnight shipping will likely resume once things have returned to normal.
Qualifying main centers include:
- Brisbane
- Sydney
- Adelaide
Whilst this service is extremely efficient and will likely be delivered within 1-2 days 99.9% of the time, it cannot be guaranteed. In the case where something were to go wrong with your delivery and it doesn’t arrive within the specified time frame, in most cases it will be delivered by the next day.
While not all major cities are eligible for overnight delivery, they still benefit from this great service. Other centers throughout Australia will have a typical delivery ETA of 2-4 days. (Excluding rural delivery address where this ETA can be extended to an additional three or more days).
