Etymotic Research's ETY Plugs ER20 High Fidelity Earplugs for Motorsport Spectators are part of their ETY Plugs series – the world's highest fidelity non-custom earplugs. This particular product has the large, clear stem earplugs with white ear tips, designed especially for use by spectators at motorsports and track racing events. They're engineered to reduce most noise to safe levels while still preserving clear communication. They're configured to match the ear canal's natural response, so when sound enters the earplug, it's reproduced unchanged – precisely the same as the ear would hear it – just quieter. The ER20 motorsports spectator earplugs include a small, flexible pull tab that enables easy removal, they also feature an easy-to-use neck cord, plus a convenient carry/storage pouch.

Using these high-fidelity earplugs regularly while involved with higher sound-level events will provide protection to hearing from the cumulative effects of overexposure to loud sounds throughout life. To acclimate to these earplugs, a little time may be necessary.

ETY Plugs are reusable, but with repeated use, the eartips may lose elasticity, weaken, and break. For best performance and retention, especially if you use your ETY Plugs constantly, replace them every 3-6 months.
