The CB-50DC Ballhead with QP-144750 Release Plate from Feisol inherits the two-locking-system design of previous Fiesol ballhead models, with the added feature of an outer layer of carbon--20g weight advantage, the feel of carbon (even in cold weather), and an attractive carbon-weave appearance. The dual-calliper design provides one system to lock the ballhead sphere, and a second to lock the base plate for even greater stability. This allows for the added capability of rotating the base plate while maintaining a locked sphere. The quick release system is Arca-Swiss compatible.
