Monitor up to DCI 4K video with the FeelWorld Z73 7" HDMI/3G-SDI On-Camera Field Monitor. The IPS LCD panel features a 1280 x 800 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 800:1 contrast ratio, and a 400 cd/m² measured brightness for easy viewing outdoors as well as indoors. The display provides 178° off-axis viewing, allowing you to see the image clearly without being directly in front of the monitor. The monitor's durable aluminium chassis is thin and light, and it features an L-series battery plate to power the monitor.
On the back of the monitor are HDMI, 3G-SDI, and composite input and loop-through output connections, as well as a 2RCA stereo input. A variety of image evaluation tools are built into the monitor, including a histogram, false colour, and zebra for chequing exposure, peaking and magnification for chequing focus, and markers for ensuring correct framing. A 9-pin tally input is also on the back, and a tally kit with a terminal block adapter is included. All the controls are on convenient buttons and dials on the front of the monitor.
There are 1/4"-20 threaded mounting threads on the bottom and sides, and a U-shaped bracket is included to use the monitor on a desktop surface. Also included is a tilting ball head shoe mount for mounting the monitor on your camera. The monitor can be powered by either a 24V 4-pin XLR input or using a 12 VDC barrel input. Also included with the monitor is a sun hood for protection from glare and a mini-HDMI cable.
