The Precision models, when on-axis, have similar frequency responses. So, the choice between them comes down to personal sonic preference.

The IK Multimedia iLoud Precision MTM Monitor (Single, White) has a limited vertical dispersion, which means it interacts less with the room's acoustics. This design creates a more forward, detailed sound, akin to using a magnifying glass. On the other hand, the Precision 5 and 6 may sound more natural due to their uniform interaction with the room across the audio spectrum.

If you prioritize extreme accuracy and precise representation of reverbs and spaces, the Precision MTM is the perfect tool. But, if you prefer a more comfortable, audiophile-like experience, the Precision 5 or 6 may be more suitable. It also allows convenient remote access to the settings on the monitors' back panel. X-MONITOR emulates the frequency and phase response of renowned studio monitors, as well as popular hi-fi speakers and mobile devices, providing a truly immersive experience. It includes over 20 studio monitor profiles, with more to come, allowing you to test your mixes on different reference systems without leaving the sweet spot.
