Description
The 3-axis Second Shooter Bundle from Kessler Crane is a motion control system that lets you create dynamic and repeatable movements with your Kessler slider. Included in the bundle are the key components required to construct a 3-axis system: the Second Shooter Controller, Slider Motor, and Pan & Tilt Head. Compact in size and intuitive to operate, the Second Shooter system makes it easy to capture repeatable motion control for live-action, time-lapse, or stop-motion applications. Compared to stepper motor systems, Second Shooter receives feedback communication from digitally encoded motors when determining motor positions to ensure precise control. The system is quick to set up in the field, making is suitable for run-and-gun and one-man-band shooters as well as larger production houses.
Note: A Kessler slider is required to use this system.
The brain of the Second Shooter system, the Kessler Crane Second Shooter Controller lets you connect the system's slider, pan, and tilt axes via Cat5 cables and control them remotely.
The Kessler Crane Second Shooter Slider Motor is a pulley system motor for the Kessler Crane CineSlider, Philip Bloom Slider, and Stealth Slider. It features a quick-change pulley system on the bottom that eliminates the need for additional motors. You can choose between Fast, Normal, and Slow motor speeds by arranging the proper combination of motor pulleys. A small size extra pulley is included.
A Second Shooter Controller is required to operate the Slider Motor. A compatible Kessler Crane Motor Mount is required to attach the Slider Motor to a slider. The Controller and Motor Mounts are sold separately.
The SS2005 Pan & Tilt Head for Second Shooter from Kessler Crane is a base pan & tilt head which enables you to add axes to your one-axis slider system and can be used with a variety of other Kessler tripod accessories. The head mounts via 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 holes on its bottom surface and is controlled by the Second Shooter Controller (sold separately) over the two included Cat5e cables.

Its added so much production value to my video and also saved me so much time. With the second shooter I can quickly key frame the shot and I know it will be perfect. Out of the box its quick to put together.I didn't even look at the instructions, no need to. No tools required either. If you buy this, I recommend using it with the CineSlider, its sturdy and the rails are well protected. Also don't forget to buy the SliderBase --> Second Shooter adapter and also the Cineslider/Stealth Slider - motor adapter plate. Other wise you wont be able to mount your motor. Yes the kit cost a lot but its made to last 20 years. The build quality is immense. You get what you pay for. Also great service it was the first time buying from RM and was a great experience!!!Read more Read less
