The black MM-ML Micro-Lapel Style Mono Omnidirectional Microphone from Microphone Madness is handmade and features a microphone element that is strategically mounted and covered with a durable rubber coating. The high-quality shielded microphone cable exits the bottom of the cartridge and terminates into a 3.5mm gold-plated plug. The microphone comes with a Shure miniature wide-mouth universal holding clip which attaches to the microphone cable for greater flexibility. A premium windscreen is included to deter disturbances due to wind.
The microphone delivers a naturally crisp sound with deep bass, smooth mid-range, and clean high-range with a frequency response of typically +/- 2 dB. It can be easily plugged into any MiniDisc, DAT, or analogue recorder that supplies a bias voltage (also known as plug-in power) of between 1.5 to 10 VDC.
