Description
The Mogami W2932 8-Channel Multicore Microphone Snake Cable (100m, Black) is an exceptional cable that offers high-level audio performance. It boasts excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics while maintaining a compact, flexible, and user-friendly design.
This cable includes individually twisted shielded pairs for enhanced signal integrity. Additionally, the XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation ensures optimum electrical performance and remains unaffected during soldering.
The cable's construction is both robust and flexible, making it easy to handle even in temperatures as low as 4°F (20°C). To facilitate easy identification, each core jacket is printed and underlined with channel numbers. This ensures accurate identification regardless of which end is stripped.
For swift conductor identification, the outer jackets of each pair are color coded following the standard resistor color code. Moreover, the inner conductors are also color coded in alignment with the international standard resistor color code. This combination of color coding on the jacket and conductor further simplifies identification for each pair.
Additionally, each channel in the cable features a drain wire and a served (spiral) bare copper shield. These features aid in termination and enable crimping using the same size contact as the inner conductor pair.
