A compact, everyday carry light that's also suitable for law enforcement applications, the MT2A Multitask Series 345 Lumen LED Flashlight by Nitecore offers customizable settings with a maximum output of 345 lumen. The MT2A features two preset modes – turbo (100% output) and user-defined. Simply tighten the head for turbo, or loosen it for your user-defined setting (low, medium, high, strobe, or SOS.) Choose your user-defined mode by cycling through the settings using the tailcap switch: turning off the light saves the mode.
Built for durability, this light features an aluminum housing with a Type III hard-anodized finish that resists scratching, corrosion, and comes with a titanium-coated stainless steel anti-roll clip that can be mounted in either direction. It has an IPX8 rating for submersion to 6.6' and is impact-resistant to 5 feet. Its power source is two AA primary, rechargeable or L91 lithium batteries, with runtime ranging from 2.25 hours on turbo to 50 hours on low power. Reverse-polarity protection circuitry prevents damage from incorrectly installed batteries, and over-heat protection circuitry automatically steps down the output in turbo mode after three minutes. Momentary illumination is achieved by turning off the light in turbo mode, then half-pressing the switch.
