The Pelican Battery Pack for 9440 Remote Area Lighting System is a replacement 9.6V rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery pack featuring a single 12V primary socket. When fully charged, this battery will provide up to about 6 hours of burn time at the 9440's low setting, or 3 hours of burn time at the high setting and the current battery level can be chequed using the built-in indicator. It requires 8 hours to recharge and has a battery life of about 300 charging cycles.
