The US-A3 Umbrella Swivel for Off-Camera Flash from Phottix is a handy way to maximise the potential of your shoe mount on-camera flash by taking it off camera. The swivel is built around a ball head with a receptacle for umbrella shafts up to 8mm in diameter and it's topped with a cold shoe with a knurled tightening knob to secure your flash. The base of the US-A3 has a 3/8"-16 female thread for mounting on a light stand or other accessory. A bushing is provided in case the stand is topped with 1/4"-20 male thread. A cold shoe with a foot is included for shoe mounting on a camera or a flash bracket.
