Dedicated to the Fujifilm X-T2 mirrorless camera with attached VPB-XT2 Battery Grip, the BVPBXT2-L L-Plate from Really Right Stuff is an Arca-type compatible plate that facilitates easier, more stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations when working atop a tripod. The L-shape of the plate also benefits shooting in vertical orientation with panorama nodal slides, for maintaining a consistent nodal point, and shooting in horizontal orientation with side-mount gimbal heads.
The dedicated design maintains full access to the battery door, and the plate is repositionable to promote easier access to the camera's side ports for shooting tethered. Two Quick Disconnect (QD) mounting system points are also featured for attaching a strap directly to the plate. The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium construction is finished with a Type II black anodising, a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting socket is featured on the base, and laser-engraved centre marks are placed on both axes for easy alignment.
