The Sennheiser E-840 - Dynamic Professional Vocal Microphone is a professional vocal microphone designed for on-stage performances, public address, announcements and just about any application requiring a professional handheld microphone.
The high quality dynamic element, provides a wide linear frequency response and low noise floor. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern which effectively minimizes noise and ambiance at the sides of the capsule. The result is minimal residual and ambiance noise as well as noise caused by feedback. A hum compensation coil reduces electromagnetic interference. Internal shock-mounting prevents handling noise and damage to the element when accidentally dropped or hit.
