The 4 x 4” Filter Zip Box Kit from Wooden Camera includes the 4 x 4" Zip Box for 80-85mm lenses, one 4 x 4" Zip Box for 90-95mm lenses, and a Zip Box adapter ring set (49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, and 77mm). The Zip Boxes can hold one 4 x 4" filter and clamp on the front of lenses with external diameters ranging from 80-85mm and 90-95mm respectively. The included adapter set allows you to adapt smaller threaded lens fronts to the 4 x 4" Zip Box (80-85mm).
The Wooden Camera Zip Box holds one 4 x 4" filter and is useful for handheld, stabilised, and drone filming where a small profile and low weight is desirable. The Zip Box clamps to the front of lenses with exterior diameter ranging from 80-85mm. The design of the rubber hood allows you to use the Zip Box with many wide-angle lenses without vignetting.
You might more accurately refer to the Zip Box as a filter holder instead of a matte box as it is designed to hold a single filter and when empty weighs about the same as a standard filter. The unibody rubber design and stainless steel clamp provide a secure grip on your lens. Optional Zip Box Adapter Rings are available for adapting this Zip Box to work with select lenses that have an outer diameter smaller than 80mm and a variety of threaded lens fronts.
The Wooden Camera Zip Box holds one 4 x 4" filter and clamps to the front of lenses with exterior diameter ranging from 90-95mm. The lens shade design allows for even the widest lenses and sensor sizes to be covered without vignetting. This lightweight Zip Box weighs about the same as a standard filter which makes it suitable for gimbal and drone use. The Zip Box Adapter Ring Set (49 to 77mm) from Wooden Camera enables you to use clamp-on 80-85mm matte boxes with 49 to 77mm front-threaded lenses. This set includes rings to fit 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, and 77mm‐threaded lenses. The rings are compatible with Wooden Camera's 80-85mm Zip Boxes.

Non-Rotating Front
As with all clamp-on hoods, it is advisable to use the Zip Box on a lens with a non-rotating front, or the filter will rotate while focusing and may vignette your image.
Filter Attachment
The rubber hood has a grove on the inside edge that holds the filter securely without using a filter tray.
