The 3 Legged Thing LevelHed Leveling Base is designed to provide users with a way to achieve a level horizon on their tripods without the need to adjust the leg positions, even when faced with challenging terrain. With a tilt range of +/- 10°, the LevelHed reduces setup times and improves the accuracy and precision of levelling, making it a perfect tool for various types of photography such as landscapes, panoramas, and architectural shots.
Made from high-quality aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, the LevelHed features a sleek matte black anodised finish. It includes a raised central mounting plate that allows for the clearance of a tripod head or quick release clamp controls. The base has a standard 1/4"-20 male thread, making it directly mountable to a camera. Additionally, the base comes with a 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 bushing adapter, allowing users to mount it to a tripod head or clamp if desired. The levelling mechanism can be easily released and locked using a ratcheted knob, while the 360° panning base is controlled by an independent knurled twist lock on the side of the casing. Lastly, the integrated bubble level can be rotated into any position, ensuring its visibility regardless of the platform angle or camera rig.
