Sharp, compact, and built to last, the 12mm T2.9 Vision Cine Lens from 7artisans delivers professional results and easily integrates with standard cine lens accessories for seamless workflow compatibility. This ultra-wide lens, designed for Nikon Z mount cameras, features focus scales in both feet and meters for precise adjustments. With a maximum T2.9 aperture, you can create pleasing soft bokeh and natural, gentle out-of-focus highlights, while the minimum aperture of T16 helps minimize artifacts that often occur when shooting with a smaller aperture opening.
Precision and Ease of Use
A 270° focus throw offers exceptionally accurate focus pulls for your creative needs. The lens showcases cine-standard 0.8 MOD gears for both focus and iris, and, as part of the Vision series, shares identical focus and iris gear positions with the 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm Vision lenses. This uniformity of design means faster lens swaps, as you won’t need to adjust your follow focus unit or lens motor between lenses. The body features an 89mm front diameter and an 82mm filter thread, allowing direct attachment of optional filters for added versatility.
Note: This lens is specifically engineered for mirrorless cameras and should not be used with SLR or DSLR cameras.
Wide-Angle Flexibility
As a unique addition to the Vision series, the 12mm lens brings ultra-wide angles to your cine-style video production. The whole series is available in Canon RF, Sony E, FUJIFILM X, Leica L, and MFT mounts, providing options across major mirrorless camera systems.
Advanced Optics and Construction
Outfitted with ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements and an all-metal shell, the lens ensures a pleasing image quality along with long-lasting durability on set.
