The Python Clamp with Snap-In Socket from 9.Solutions is a lightweight accessory that's made to accept attachments and hold items up to 50mm in its contoured jaws. The Python has a removable centre bolt that accepts any gear with a 3/8" male thread. Removing the discs from a grip head, for example allows the head to grip sections of wood, poles or trussing. Mounting 2 Pythons together makes them a truss coupler or crossbar holder for a background stand. Adding an adapter allows it to support a light and using Pythons with 3/8" rods permits construction of display shelves.
This version of the clamp has a snap-in socket that accepts a 5/8" spigot or pin so that it's captive without tightening. An additional knob is built in to stop the pin from turning.
