AJA's 3G-SDI Video and Audio to JPEG 2000 Convertor lets you connect an SDI source to your IP video infrastructure. This video front-end is compatible with AJA's back-end equipment, including the IPT-1G convertors and KONA IP receivers. 2K, HD, and SD-resolution video is supported at up to 60 fps; and the 10-bit processing, along with JPEG 2000 format encoding, ensures a high level of detail preservation from input to output. Separate analogue audio inputs can be used to embed stereo audio in video feeds that don't have embedded audio. Since the output uses IP for transmission, an existing Ethernet network infrastructure can be used to route video. A separate Ethernet port on the device allows for a control connection, enabling setup through a web browser. A locking universal power supply is included.
