The AJA Ki Pro GO2 Multichannel H.264/H.265 Recorder/Player is a compact and versatile portable recorder that supports H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 (AVC) codecs. With the ability to simultaneously record up to four HD or SD channels, it provides flexibility for capturing multiple video sources. Recordings can be made onto USB drives or network storage, with options available for redundant recording to enhance data safety.
The Ki Pro GO2 is equipped with four 3G-SDI and four HDMI digital video inputs, allowing for convenient connectivity and channel assignments with various video sources, including routers, professional and prosumer cameras, and DSLRs. The unit's input frame synchronisers eliminate the need for genlocked video sources, and its high-quality deinterlacers enable progressive recordings from interlaced inputs.
Each recording channel can be assigned high-quality 2-channel embedded or balanced XLR analogue audio. The Multi-Channel Matrix Monitoring feature allows multiple video channels to be viewed on a single HDMI or SDI display. Furthermore, the Enhanced Super Out feature adds useful overlays, such as timecode, media status, and audio metres, on the SDI and HDMI monitor outputs.
Designed with portability or rack mounting in mind, the Ki Pro GO2 has a compact half-rack width and 2 RU height dimensions. This makes it suitable for various production environments, ranging from large-scale concert tours to local houses of worship.
