The BP28 features a 28mm diameter body to accommodate the large capsule. Despite this, the interference tube remains relatively short. Additionally, the mic incorporates a directional (gradient) element into the tube which further reduces pickup from the rear. Made with lightweight yet durable aluminium housing, the BP28 can be easily positioned and handled on a boom during active productions.
