Featuring a number of optimisations for spoken word and vocal capture, the BP40 Large Diaphragm Dynamic Broadcast Microphone from Audio-Technica boasts a hypercardioid polar pattern for strong off-axis rejection, and its voice coil is humbucking to prevent electromagnetic interference. The capsule itself is placed to assure present vocal capture even from a distance, while its internal pop filtering helps eliminate plosives.
