Aurora-Aperture PowerDusk Drop-In Filter (Sigma MC-21)

Description

The Aurora-Aperture PowerDusk Drop-In Filter (Sigma MC-21) is nano-coated with anti-reflective coating, increasing the useful light by 10% while reducing the unwanted light by 9%. The Aurora Aperture Drop-In filters are made with 7075 series aerospace-grade aluminium alloy due to the demanding requirements of the design. The 7075 series is practically twice as 6000 series aluminium alloys used in conventional filter frames.

The Aurora-Aperture Drop-In filters work extremely well with ultra-wide-angle lenses, especially with those that have a protruding front element and are without front filter threads. Those types of lenses require a bulky filter adapter paired with very large filters. They are inconvenient to carry around and are unfriendly to your wallet.

Our newly introduced PowerDusk filter is not only very useful in astrophotography but also for street photography during blue hours. The PowerDusk filter can filter out artificial lighting like sodium vapour lamps which commonly are used in street lighting, thus increasing contrast and practically eliminating colour cast caused by urban light pollution.
