The Benro Mammoth Carbon Fibre Tripod with WH15 Wildlife Head is specifically designed to meet the needs of sports and wildlife photographers who frequently work with long telephoto or zoom lenses. With a generous load capacity of 15kg, it can easily support full frame DSLRs with long prime telephoto lenses. This head offers dual panning functions, allowing users to pan from the base using the adjustable pan friction or to independently rotate the quick release platform when necessary. It also provides friction control for both pan and tilt operations, with eight selectable settings for tilt counterbalance. These select settings enable the head to remain in position without the need for locking.
Featuring a sliding Arca-type quick release plate, the WH15 ensures equipment balance on the head and offers a secure locking-knob design. It includes an index scale for precise and repeatable results, as well as safety screw cutouts to prevent accidental premature release of the plate.
Additionally, the WH15 comes with a three-section pan handle that can be extended to suit various shooting applications. The handle can be mounted on either side of the head, accommodating both right- and left-handed users. Furthermore, it can be detached to serve as a selfie stick if desired.
