Support up to 20 kg worth of gear with the TMA47AXL Extra Long Series 4 Mach3 Aluminium Tripod from Benro. Made from aluminium, the 3-section legs are secured via twist locks and extend to a maximum height of 216.2 cm. The centre column can be replaced with the included short column to allow the tripod to reach a minimum height of 47.5 cm. The rubber feet can be swapped out for metal spikes so that the tripod can be used on hard surfaces, such as ice, or soft surfaces, like carpeting or a lawn. A ballast hook on the centre column allows for the addition of stabilising weight, and the included carrying case protects the tripod during transport. A 3/8"-16 threaded stud on the mounting platform lets you attach a head of your choice.

Excellent tripods, best value for money on the market. Simple problem free leg angle adjustment mechanism. Great that they come with with the two different length center columns and spiked feet. It is quite long folded and heavy but I plan to use as a good stable base for a star tracker.Read more Read less
