Description
The Black Lion Audio Auteur MKII 500 Mono 500 Series Microphone Preamplifier single-channel, 500 Series microphone preamplifier is for your 500 Series rack. Its ultrafast input stage and Edcor output transformer allow detailed and characterful capture of anything from vocals to drums. A front-panel 1/4" Hi-Z input makes the preamp equally ideal for electric instruments such as guitar, bass, and keyboards.
With up to 67 dB of gain available via a single knob, the Auteur MKII 500 can handle low-output ribbon mics, sensitive condensers, or standard dynamic mics. The switchable 13 dBu pad lets you easily avoid distortion when recording loud sources such as close-miked amps or instruments with active pickups. Switches are also provided for polarity and 48V phantom power.
