The Blackmagic Design Fairlight Live Audio Panel 10 is designed to give you immediate, hands-on command over your live audio setup. Featuring 10 motorized faders and a large touchscreen display, the panel places control of every channel, bus, matrix, aux, VCA, sub-master, and talkback function right at your fingertips. Perfect for home studios, compact broadcast environments, and professional audio post-production spaces, this ergonomic desktop console seamlessly integrates with Fairlight Live software, transforming complex mouse-driven tasks into intuitive, physical mixing operations.
Tactile Control Built for Live Production
The Audio Panel 10’s motorized faders respond instantly as you adjust your mix, providing tactile feedback that speeds up decision-making throughout demanding live productions. The built-in touchscreen presents channel strip details, EQ curves, dynamics processing, and plugin interfaces for all ten faders simultaneously. This ensures you can view and tweak crucial mix information without having to switch screens or juggle multiple windows while under pressure.
Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts
Fairlight Live offers wide-ranging keyboard shortcut configuration, empowering you to instantly trigger cue player control, make routing changes, carry out system setups, activate audio follows video, patch generators and talkback microphones, recall snapshots, and manage display views. During fast-moving broadcast or production sessions, you can fire a snapshot, modify routing, and cue audio on the fly using shortcuts—keeping the workflow agile and uninterrupted by menu navigation.
Remote Control for Multiple Operators
The system accommodates primary and backup engines plus two concurrent remote control machines, enabling collaborative mixing during live events. This setup lets you delegate portions of the mix to remote operators, granting them real-time access to specific channels or parameters. With sync status indicators and a dedicated talkback system, coordination remains seamless. This approach is ideal for live sporting events, religious services, or talk shows, where one main operator oversees the program while another manages audience mics or in-ear monitors from a separate location.
Third-Party Hardware Integration
Fairlight Live extends its flexibility by integrating with Mackie MCU controllers and OSC-based tablet applications, broadening control beyond the main panel. Users can manage faders, pan, mute, selection, PFL, AFL, metering, solo clear, undo/redo, banking, and control room volume. OSC support provides remote aux send management for monitor mixes, front-of-house operation, talkback control, GPI triggers, and audio follows video routing. In practical terms, this means you can operate the main mix from a hardware controller, allow a producer to use a tablet for talkback, and let musicians handle their own monitor mixes remotely—all with full visibility and control.
