The Blackmagic Design UpDownCross 100G is a purpose-built 1 RU IP video standard converter tailored for 100G broadcast infrastructures. Designed to accommodate demanding professional environments, it supports up to eight channels of SMPTE 2110 video at SD, HD, and Ultra HD resolutions. The unit enables simultaneous conversion of IP video streams into any other video standard, leveraging dual 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces that offer SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy to ensure uninterrupted signal delivery. In addition to versatile video support, each IP stream can handle up to 16 channels of embedded audio, meeting the needs of complex broadcast workflows.

Engineered for reliable performance during live production and broadcast operations, the UpDownCross 100G features a user-friendly front-panel interface. A 2.2" LCD display, complete with an integrated control knob and dedicated buttons, provides operators with real-time monitoring and status information for video, audio, and system parameters. For instant audio confidence, the device includes a built-in speaker and a headphone output, making immediate audio monitoring straightforward.
Comprehensive Control and Redundancy
External configuration and control are made simple through a dedicated RJ45 port supporting NMOS-based setup, while a USB-C connection allows for quick setup and firmware updates. To maximize reliability in mission-critical scenarios, the UpDownCross 100G is equipped with dual IEC power inputs, ensuring power redundancy and continuous operation even in the event of a power source failure.
