The Bright Tangerine Left Field 15mm Baseplate for RED DSMC2 Cameras is a modular support system designed for RED DSMC2 cameras. It includes a Left Field ARRI-standard dovetail plate with multiple 1/4"-20 accessory mounting points, a baseplate core, and a 15mm LWS rod mount.
Once secured in the baseplate core using the locking lever, the dovetail plate acts as a quick release for fast transitions between setups. The baseplate attaches to the camera using two 3/8"-16 screws, while the dovetail plate mounts to a tripod, gimbal, or shoulder rig. The 15mm rod mount is fixed to the baseplate core with two screws and securely clamps onto 15mm LWS rods via its own locking levers.
